  • The Instrument PS (Perio Slim) is slim and smooth like a probe. It is gum-friendly, minimally invasive, maximally preventive, and preserves the epithelium thanks to its remarkably linear movements.
  • By using only one instrument to do 95% of the work, things will be easier. For the 5% that remain we recommend our new curved Instruments PSL and PSR (Perio Slim Left and Right). The Instrument PS gives the clinician good haptics and a secure feeling while working subgingivally.
  • The treatment with the Instrument PS is NO PAIN if used correctly. A NO PAIN and pleasant treatment is the dream of every patient and is the key to patient loyalty and satisfaction.
  • The cost of an Instrument PS being only a few cents per treatment and per patient, it makes absolutely no sense to buy copies or so-called “compatible” tips.
  • The Trilogy: Instrument PS, PIEZON® Handpiece, and PIEZON® NO PAIN electronic module was designed to work together and to vibrate in harmony.

Designed around the original PIEZON PS NO PAIN® technology, the new PIEZON® PI MAX Instrument is the best instrument for non-surgical, periodontal treatments on implants, veneers, crowns, restorations, etc. It removes biofilm and calculus supra- and subgingivally up to 3mm without damaging the surfaces. With its slim and smooth design, the new PIEZON® PI MAX is gum-friendly, minimally invasive and preventive, for maximum patient comfort.

Technology

The new PIEZON® PI MAX Instrument is the thinnest instrument for peri-implant treatments up to 3mm. Being as thin as a perio probe, the instrument offers a maximum of accessibility around the implant abutments and reduces the risk of pain. With a significantly increased flexibility, all sensitive surfaces can be cleaned safely. The instrument is made of a medical-grade stainless steel support and a high-tech Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) instrument tip, filled with 30% carbon. The special composition of the instrument tip does not damage the implant surface during the treatment. The PEEK charged with carbon delivers correct flexibility and a linear movement.

The PI MAX Instrument easily debrides calculus with surgical precision thanks to its linear movements and optimized power. Controlled movements ensure constant treatment outputs and protect the patient’s teeth at all times. Combined with the original NO PAIN module, the instrument shape and its linear motion deliver the efficiency and the comfort of the treatment.

The EMS Instrument PI features a tip-coating made of high-tech Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) fiber that safely cleans the sensitive surfaces of implant abutments and restorations. It easily debrides plaque with surgical precision thanks to its linear oscillation and medical-grade stainless steel. It’s ideal for minimally-invasive implant maintenance, for maximum patient comfort.

Instrument PSL / Instrument PSR

The Instrument PSR and Instrument PSL are recommended for calculus removal supra- and subgingivally up to 8mm. They access difficult-to-reach distal and mesial interproximal surfaces with superior efficacy and comfort.

Comfortable and minimally invasive

The linear movement of the Instrument PSL and Instrument PSR is minimally invasive, contributing to the patient’s comfort.

Heavy calculus removal

The Instrument PSL and Instrument PSR have superior efficacy in heavy calculus removal compared to the Instrument PS. They are time saving, especially during initial periodontal therapy and are indicated for adult patients. With this versatile innovation, the use of Instruments A and P is no longer required.

Swiss innovation

Left and right angulations provide complete accessibility to all tooth surfaces, including furcations with optimal ergonomics.
